All my passions in life have always stemmed from one thing: Storytelling. It started with stage performance, which led to involvement in my high school's speech team, as well as interest in video production and film.

I would not be who I am today if it weren't for the stories I heard through song and performance on stage as a child.

 

My passion for performance started all the way back when 4-year-old Ben went to Disney World with his family. We went to a British Pub restaurant at Epcot, and the piano woman was taking requests to play any song. Unprompted by anyone in my family, I went up and asked if I could sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" in front of everybody. Since then I have been a part of many productions, from high school, to community theatre, to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, in May of 2016, with a B/A in Mass Media Communications and Theatre Art. Courses such as "Video Production" and "Documentary & Historical Film" fueled my skills and passion for producing unique projects with a dry, offbeat sense of wit. Since then, I have gone on to shoot and produce wedding videos, content for corporate online training, promotional trailers for local theatre, content for YouTube channels, as well as character animation.
